K’arale, a nongovernmental organisation with a mission to take quality healthcare to the hard to reach. We are incorporated [CAC.27558] and also registered with LSACA. Professionally we are affiliated with some of the most respected and prestigious medical institutions abroad with respected and prestigious medical institutions abroad Harvard School of Medicine, PEPFAR] and locally with APIN and the College of Medicine, University of Lagos.

Our Mission:
To improve the health of the poor and under-served in slums and rural communities through the establishment of health posts and community empowerment using a committed and highly motivated team.

Our Vision:
To be the leading Not-for -profit organisation in the delivery of humane, good quality and sustainable healthcare to hard-to-reach communities in Africa.

Our Objectives:
To provide quality health care to the hard to reach
To provide primary health care services in communities
To promote healthy living through economic empowerment
Training community members
The prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases
The prevention and treatment of HIV
The prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV
Develop strong linkages between the community and the primary, secondary and tertiary health institutions
Raise money for the benefit of meeting the goals and objectives of the association through innovative and productive fund raising activities.

Geographical Coverage:
Eti-Osa LGA, Ibeju Lekki LGA, Mushin LGA, Alimosho LGA, Ikeja LGA (still expanding)

Target groups:
Women, Youth, Orphan and Vulnerable children
Hard-to-reach communities [Hard to reach is not necessarily by geography. It can also be psychological or social for delivery of quality health care.
