HIV prevention education in Secondary schools:
Youth are trained to offer information
on prevention of HIV/AIDS, STIs, behaviour change to their peers with
the premise that most young people feel comfortable receiving info from
people of the same age group
than from adults. The training is empowering for those involved,
inspires them to be role models and makes them credible sources of
information to their peers.
K’arale PortaKlinic Project:
The primary purpose of the PortaKlinic is to
assist in delivering basic healthcare to millions of people living in
slum-urban areas that are not accessing available healthcare. Each
PortaKlinic has the potential to provide diagnosis, treatment and care
for upwards of 10,000 people. Our project goal is to establish a
PortaKlinic/Health post in every slum community in Nigeria starting with Lagos.
Traditional
